    River's Edge ATV Park

    Anyone been there yet? A bunch of us are going Columbus Day weekend...

    Cabins, camping sites, & ATV park. Canaan, NH.

    The place is about 15 min from my house. They have a decent amount of trails. Difficult level of trails vary. They have a small moto-x track. They have been talking about putting in a bigger one in. Every year it is different as they keep expanding things. I have not had a chance to go there this year. There are also a couple of other trail systems in the area. Warren has about 30-40 miles of trails. Claremont also has a large trail system.

    Yeah, I keep hearing good things about 'em. My brother inlaw went last year with a bunch of people and they all loved it. They added like, 8 more miles of trails this year and I guess they have a dedicated mud-bog now too. They told me I should bring both the 4x and the Rappy...

    We'll be there for the weekend, about 10 of us at least. I'll be sure to bring the camera. But with all the riding, I'm not sure how many pics I'll blast...

    I love anthing dirt, but I was very disapointed in the Edge ATV Park.

    I went with seven other dirt bikers. The trails were pretty beat and all dead ended. I got sick of turning around pretty quick.

    The motocross track was a complete dust bowl. There was not real fun features on this basic oval track.

    The water truck parked there had not moved in a while.

    The place has a lot of potential.
    It would take minimal work to connect the dead end trails and make new trails so they flowed. The track made me very proud of my backyard track as all there agreed they wished they had stayed home and none would return.

    With so few legal places to ride I was bummed as it is not to far from my house and i would go several times a year. A pass holder told me that the old owners took better care of the place.
    It seems geared for the cooler on the back of the Quad crowd, which is fine if that is your way of havin a gut time.
    Hope you have more fun than I did, I swear I am not a dirt bike snob, I have a Sportsman 500 as well.

    Drove by the park today on my way to Dartmouth Hitchcock Med Center, fun day (yeah right), and they had a couple of dozers out there rippin stuff apart. I've never been there so I don't know what they were working on, right out front - maybe mud pit?, but it looked like they were working pretty hard on the area.
