Arghhhh...I'm not french!! I'm french canadian, BIG difference!! THey suck, we suck even more.
Oh and eh..."Turning Leaf" was only a suggestion...never had the stuff. I just heard that it was a popular affordable wine, and since he didn't specify if he wanted to spend a lot or not, I "suggested", but not recommended. Or at least, it was not my intention...Like I said, I'm not a big fan of wine. I really love Martini & Rossi to drink while eating, or at any time (specially in the summer, it's a refreshing wine). Meade is an Irish dessert wine, very sweet and not expensive at all.
As a side note, I went to our "Table & Wine" liquor store (VERY nice, big, with over 2000 spirits in store) and they sell all kind of pates, fancy gourmet food, cheeses, etc. and I took your advice and bought a "Inniskillin"....at $85.00 a bottle....good wine...but made me sick a little to spend that much not being sure I'd like it...lol I also got a botle of Pinot Grigio, sweet, easy wine to drink. And of course, a bottle of my Martini & Rossi.![]()

well selection was pretty slim at the store up the street from me. i ended up getting a couple bottles of Oroya grape wine. it's good stuff and as recommended, it goes great with sushi. also picked up a bottle of saki.. i forget the name but it wasn't that bad considering i rarely drink it. needless to say, i'm feeling a little dry this morning.
i definitely plan on trying some of the suggested wines. thanks nesr.![]()
