New frame bolts shipped yesterday and are pegged to arrive today (THANKS WOODCRAFT!!!). Once those show up, reassembly will resume. Decided to work on some other minor projects last night so started swapping over the new brake rotors up front only to find that several of the rotor bolts are dangerously close to stripping out and one is in fact stripped out. Ordering two full complements of new bolts so I don't have to worry about it and I'll pick out the remaining good ones from the original set to keep as spares.
29 Days and I will be Ice riding Friday...............
I mounted my hitch and took the new trailer for a quick jaunt yesterday...does that count as prep? I also learned that where I mounted my Pitbull TRS does not allow the trailer door to close :mad2:
My trailer is ready for me to pick up, I've got my TRS to install, and a Rustoleum Restore pamphlet beside me so I can pick the right colors...
Picked up the motor from SVM today. It's always a pleasure dealing with Scott. He even hooked me up with some parts from a spare motor he had. Now I need to get work to slow down so I can spend some time with the bikes again!
28 Days.....
Getting the bodywork fitted up this weekend then its off to paint. everything else is done save for some safety wiring. fresh oil and water wetter, new rearsets and frame sliders mounted up, new brake pads installed. may need to come up with a new water overflow bottle system if the new tail doesnt fit with the current one.
Jesus I still have barely started the rebuild. Frame bolts showed up and went in with no issues but I have two or three more bolts to torque. Only having 30-40 minutes a day to work on this thing is seriously stressing me out.
My bikes been ready since Nov 2013 ... ;) might do some painting... MAYBE...
My is painted finally :)

Pre-entry for April: In
 I'm sure theyll come soon enough
I'm so fucked...
Primer is a color, right?
Made something resembling progress on mine. Frame is fully secured to the motor. Swingarm is on as is the upper shock mount. Shock linkage is spotlessly clean as of this morning and just waiting for the bearings to get repacked and then the whole rear suspension will be back together. Also got the head bearings out finally so I gotta chill the new ones and get them in so the front end can go back on. Then subframe, fit and trim bodywork so I can start the paint and keep working on the assembly between coats.
The motor is in and running. A couple of minor/optional things left to do but I'm basically ready for the race season to begin.
Oh yeah, 3-7 inches of snow predicted for tonight. FML
Forks have been straightened, just flushed the radiator. No need to mount the bodywork and make an exhaust hanger.
Bleh, just can't find motivation to work in the garage by myself.
25 Days and here is a Video I posted yesterday . Just a quick one with some ice clips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09q4wMjQ_s8
Bodywork is about finished being mounted paint starts next weekend. Gotta have PK install the new cartridges
