I'd love to have a go at one of the electric superbikes. Lightning's offering, the Brammo Empulse RR or the Mission R maybe. I'm not picky.

    THIS!!!

    but would settle with ..
    RVF750 RC45
Better than an RC30 and still the only machine that makes a 16in front wheel work better than a 17in. Not that fast, but so easy to ride. Top class Showa suspension makes it comfy for a race bike. But how can a bike with such little race success be worth three times more than a 916? RC45s were overpriced when new and are still way too expensive for what you get. But ride a good, standard one and you’ll change your mind.

Early '50s Vincent Black Shadow. Though an Egli Vincent would do very nicely too.

For me, it's a BMW K1600R, mainly because they don't make one, even though they easily could.

It's not even a 1098 motor in the Tesi; it's an aircooled 1100, as found in the Monster or (last version of the) HyperMotard. So I call BS on a 30-hour valve adjustment.

That's essentially what he just said. "Hes a French model, I met him on the internet. Ahhhhh, bonjour" aka don't believe everything you read on the internet.

John from Dyno Solutions in CT was selling one for $10,500 a while back. He might still have it.

I know. I quoted him because I was just clarifying it wasn't even the 4V liquid-cooled engine that the silly claim was made about.

Its actually a smaller motor like an 851 on the 2D and 3D IIRC, then again maybe I'm thinking of some of his other bikes, superlight maybe? I'll ask next time I go to his garage as 30 hours does seem high, but any kind of work on that thing is labor intensive, including front wheel removal. The reason being is the engine has to come out of the Tesi frame, not so much because of the valve job adjusting itself.

Nothing to do with the internet. A collector here has 2 Tesi, an RC30 and numerous other exotic bikes in his garage in RI. He told me the hours on the valve adjustment. I'll re-confirm with him. Seen the bikes in person many times at his house and at local bike meets.
