Lol. It's an ok bike. Exhaust is a mess and needs to be completely replaced. No title but a VT reg. Plastics are eh. It sat for years and years so there's that too.
It's between this and an old air cooled gsxr 750 I found. It's a toss up between the two. There is a 3rd option I might grab if I can get a good price for rebuilding my rd350 motor. This the season to buy lol.

The 91 is probably the same. It's a real mess though both in legality and running. It would be a gamble to buy but I can make my money back in parts I think. It's the only reason I'm considering it.
My k1 gsxr is those slow colors too lol. I'm looking for a blue white srad, maybe a yellow. A gold one is a dream. I always miss them. Sexiest color ever on them.

Is that what they call the 96 gold and blacks? I've been tempted to import one from Europe I'm so frustrated trying to get one here. A blue and white would do me just fine, even in a 600.

I use vt for everything but I always know the history of whatever I registering. That 91 gsxr has no paperwork at all, it's been sitting for years and it's in Bridgeport. Very high chance it was stolen. I'm waiting to hear back on the vin. If it had an old reg or title I would have picked it up today.
I tried buying the 96 1100 in Springfield but it's too raced out. Clean bike but you can't even drive it on the road. Zero front suspension travel by cutting the springs to nothing and the rear is so low the swingarm brace drags on bumps. Plus it loaded with chrome which makes me want to puke. What can I say, it's a Springfield bike.

I don't know what the real color is called but the SRAD community just calls them Duracell bikes.

You can piece together a used set of Duracell fairings via eBay if you're patient and willing to spend money for nice shit
