$6k to get it registered and titled, when it's a bike that comes with a normal MCO that doesn't say 'for offroad use only'... also, because Stark is trying to be like Tesla and throwing constant updates at the bikes without saying what's in the updates, 80hp is more like, 60hp with more edge at the moment... they've been derated for the past couple months and Stark has just admitted it to a couple customers, no ETA on a fix. I really wanted to like them, but I'll wait for something that I don't have to question what I'm going to get every time I turn it on.

Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
For a first bike, I’d lean to something a little more modern. The older bikes are cool and all, but it will be quirky at times, which could be intimidating for a new rider.
I just helped a friend get his first bike, found a 2019 Honda CB300 with 1,100 miles on it for $3,000, and saw several clean used comparable sized bikes in the $3-4k range
