I need to get some auxiliary lighting so I can see better leaning into the corners.

I find flipping the high beams on in corners helps quite a bit.
If there's a car there, then the car is usually doing the job.
I rode quite a bit over the weekend. Mostly on Saturday - to the U-Mass peach/apple farm, and the Hardwick Winery - and today I have the 250. Not too many days left!
I'm the only one at work still riding. I've been finding cars parking in the "cycle only" designated parking squeezed up next to my bike:

:fuming:
Park sideways in front of the area
I work nights. Last night may have been the last one for a while. 26 when I left for work and a few spots of black ice on the way in. 19 Degrees when I got home in the morning with a few sketchy frosted up bridges on the way home.
Ha, funny. :-P
I've actually always only used clear visors. On bright days I wear sunglasses underneath, but obviously not at night.
I-89 north of Burlington has no streetlights, and when the moon is new, covered, or not up yet, it's really dark out there. The Tiger has good headlights, but it still feels like I'm riding in a little bubble of light and can't see anything further up the road... including any critters that may decide to stroll across.
I did ride in today though.

Just leave them a note that you've recorded their make, model and plate # and will have them towed if they park there again. Has worked for me at my work parking lot.
To the OP: I'm still riding to work. It was beautiful out this morning, sunny and around 40 degrees, will reach almost 50 in the city this afternoon. As long as there isn't snow or ice on the ground, I'm riding!
I think there's still 3 of us riding to work.
The number of bikes in the Harvard Square underground lot was 6 (not counting 2 scooters) when I left at 5:15PM on Tuesday. I usually see 12-14. Could be the holiday week. I saw three other riders on the road in Newton/Watertown/Wellesley last night between 5:30 and 6:30. Roads much emptier at 9PM on the return to Newton Corner from Wellesley.
I'm still variable. I'm not equipped to take a 2+ hour commute in ~20ºF weather, so my days in Waltham are generally some sort of 4 wheeled vehicle of late.
Rode in today (not in Waltham). 40 minutes at ~32ºF is much more tolerable.
Heated gear is on my Christmas list. I have none right now.
I rode in yesterday (Boston). Saw 1/2 dozen bikes parked next to WHDH. I'm home today.
Love this roll call... still riding..
I'm still riding everyday! Weather has been surprisingly good. Hope it keeps up

I did today. Did a nice ride on sunday.
Just to be clear: I didn't mean to insult anyone. I meant 2 of my co-workers and myself are still riding to work.
Today was the last day for my Street Triple though I think - time to give her a last wash and put her away.
Kind of curious to see how cold I can go with the WR.
Co-worker and I have ours in the lot tonight.
Rode in this morning.
Taking the Explorer in this morning. I'm shooting for early dismissal...
Seven bikes and the usual two scooters in the Harvard Square underground garage just now. Two bikes I haven't seen there before, too.
still riding, tomorrow's scare of the S word could mean a lot less commuting on two wheels for me. Depends if they salt or not.
I'm back at it...only about a 10 minute ride though. Still better than walking or taking the bus!
Noticed something weird today though. Back tire seemed to get a bit squirelly while doing fairly routine braking. Nothing crazy, just felt a bit of a slip as I stopped. Is this common as it gets colder? Never rode this far into the winter before.
Yes.
Performance rubber tends to harden up and get less grippy in the cold.
My 'strom is pretty much off the road. Battery is in the shop on the tender and the bike has been washed and tucked away. Hats off to you guys still going.
Watched a dude split lanes up 495 in ~60 MPH rolling traffic on an FJR today. :fro:
