    Truck came with one of these, and it seated the bead INSTANTLY without needing a strap on the front tire. Probably would have done the rear just as easy. After an hour of struggling, it took care of it in seconds.

    I don't understand how these work? only with the core removed? or do they still somehow press the core?

    They must somehow press, since you can use them to air down tires quickly too. I'll take a look next time I have one in hand.
