I do like the cafe look, but i guess i should try it the way it was intended to be ridden. I am not a fan of the gas tank, and there are some things that need to be addressed on looks. No matter what way it ends up going, i'm already sure on the color, black. Sorry for the horrible pic, couldn't find the camera.

To me the only solution to that bike is the full Storz treatment, which is unfortunately kind of pricey but it does make the bike look good and puts it on a serious diet (which it really needs).
Although a lot of people think it's a classic, I've never been a fan of the XLCR. Looks to me like something a 1970s vampire would ride.

That exhaust is trick.
“It's 2 minutes for any capable adult.”
Update time.
Got everything apart that i wanted to paint flat black, which gave me a rolling frame and motor, Also was given a motorcycle lift which makes things so much easier. Also a good pic of my "shop" section of my basement.
better pic of the front end, took it all apart, stripped the trees, fork lowers, painted, serviced the bearings, and put it back together.
Painted parts waiting to go back on.
Thanks for looking!
