I went to Brockton Cycle today and tried on pretty much every helmet they had there. I think the Arai quantum fit me the best. I'm gonna wait 2 weeks for the 07 models to come out and make a decision then. It's too bad that shoei makes way better graphics for their helmets vs. arai; at least in my opinion. I also tried on the one model of shark helmet they carry and although the lining was made of a much softer material than any of the others, it didn't fit my head well. I might have to swing over to SSMS to try on some of the other shark models.
What the hell Alex what kind of cranium do you have,...nothing but Aria Q not that i'm against Aria just got the Q myself for Christmas and i've had a stiffy ever since. I have to agree with the graphics i think Shoei are better for that too. You should go to SSMS they have more Sharks and there prices are good to. Talk to Dainna when you go she's the one who gave me a good price on the Aria. It probably helped i was with D he used to work there. But the people in there were nice and willing to work with there customers. Good luck Bud.Originally posted by Punjistick

Probably has a head like mine. Only the Arai RX7 and one of the suomys fits. The shoei was like trying to to fit the square peg in the round hole. Just didnt work.Originally posted by stevecbr900rr

That sucks to be limited to only a few helmets for fitment. At least the ones you can wear are the top of the line,...at least in my opinion. i Have one of all three of those manufactures helmets and they all fit great,...just lucky not to be a block head i guess.Originally posted by union

My Shark RSR fits similarly to my Suomy once it's on, but a bit snugger.
The cheek pads were way too tight, but I just ordered thinner ones.
Also it feels like it's ripping my ears off when I put the helmet on and off, but once it's on it's extremely comfortable.
So I would say the opening of the helmet tapers in a bit more... but it results in a quiet helmet even though it still flows a lot of air.
