I say bin all those ideas and get a 05 R1 Dealer near me has a 05 Raven sitting on the floor, I "may" be able to help you out a little on that one Or you could wait until fall and buy my 04 R1 (the super fast red one.. bling bling). If you want to try it out sometime to see how it feels, next ride i'll let you try it out. I think it's a pretty comfy bike and 400+ mile days are not much of an issue for me anyways.

My honda hasn't really had any issues besides the tail lights. but thats all worked out, all the other times I worked on her last year was changing rims and plastics for track days and back again to street form. Other than that it was just for some stupid cleaning I got myself into.... No mechanical problems with my RC what so ever!! I love this bike!

Read it's going to be released in the US as a 2006 model later in the year.

I saw a Sprint ST at the dealer, very nice looking bike. I would love to take one out, will go back when they get a demo model in.

Also what about the Duc ST3/ST4 or the multistrada? Multi a bit iffy on the styling...

The ST is around 10k which is a huge bang for the buck if it is as good to ride as it is to look at.

The K1200R is already on sale, but there are very few. One sold at the shrewsbury BMW dealership last week, just two days after arriving... That bastard, it was the metalic one I wanted.... If I see it, I'm gonna smack him for beating me to it...

if you get a tuono new... definitely get it from Jesse at Seacoast Sport... he is awesome to deal with.

Mick brings up a great point though... you can get a used one... probably where someone else already dumped the cake for exhaust and chip, for a lot less.
