Deal's Gap 2005 Part II, Return of the Dumb

Ok, here's the deal.

I can't get enough of the Gap.

I want to go again this fall. (seriously)

September perhaps should be pretty nice down there weather wise. Labor day would be good, it'll get us an extra day of fun with less missing work.

Full week if possible, perhaps a couple extra days travel time. I gots vacation time and I wants to use it for something kickass.

Any other interest? If we can get a house at Ron and Nancy's again, that would be tits. If we can't get enough people, I'm willing to hore myself out on other forums trying to get in a house with a bunch of strangers.

I have a truck that can make the trip with my bike in the bed and a tow hitch that can pull a single bike trailer for someone else.

Me and KB drove down in a day in a half with stayover in Bristol, TN. I drove back myself leaving around 10:30 AM and getting home around 3:30 AM the next morning. Gas ran me about $130 each way, I'm sure it'll be more this time.

I wish I could, but I literally just planned the rest of my vacation for this fiscal year yesterday. And I booked my flight this morning. Damn you for not making this thread sooner!

I would kill to go. i know me and KB are fresh out of vacation time though. Maybe i can get fired or something by then, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

That would make 5. If we can get 7, it'll be just about $108 a piece for the Ridge House!

If we go on the week I mentioned, then you would only need 4 days of time off due to Labor day. Take 3 days off and call in sick for one!

Im staying there in Sept based ont he recomendations of you folks. Sept for 3 nites, trial run while I am broke. Next year hopefully for a week.

It looks like I'm gonna make the zrxoa rally in Skeenah, Ga that week. I've been told that Deals Gap is only a few hours north of Skeenah. Maybe I can meet up with you for a pass or two thru the Gap. Regards, Snake

I rode thru there last May, theres more motard roads than sportbike roads it's 1.5-2.5 hours to the dragon depending on pace
