I'll also be filling 2 Growlers of my Country keg!!!!

I also have TONS of hot dogs and Brat's that we could bring down to eat. I also have some pork tenderloil that's marinated. They were on sale so I bought a bunch of them.

I'll be bringing oil and a filter to do an oil change on the Z-Rex mid-week. I don't have time to do one tonight as the girlie already reserved this evening as "us time". I also gotta do a complete chain lube.

SOOOO close....

I don't think it's gunna sink in that we're gunna be at Deal's Gap until we're on the road!!!

Just fully prepaired so I dont have to drop a small fortune in case I use up my tires mounted or get a flat. Both sets of rims/tires are close to spent already, but enough meat where it's not worth changing them before the trip...

Mine has a spout also for refilling back into the bottles. I have it in the truck and we can see which will work betterer...

Hey Guys...

If you're trailering you should go get some 50 gallon tanks of gas to put in the backs of the pickups/vans/trailers.

There are reports on the web that some of the areas around Deal's gap have run out of gas.

Also saw something about $6/gal in Atlanta.

Just called Ron.

They are currently limiting gas purchases in Robbinsville to $20 a person. In light of that, Ron recommended bringing some spare gas cans with us due to the possibility of shortages temporarily during our stay.

Fuel Concerns

Just a heads-up for those heading to the Gap this weekend, they have been rationing gas in Robbinsville to $20 maximum per person for the past couple of days. I'm not sure how they're going to hold up through the weekend, but I've heard that supplies are on the way and it was an over-reaction. I just spoke with the folks at the Deal's Gap motorcycle resort and they think they will be fine through the weekend on gas, although they may ration to motorcycle sales only.

Good luck with the trip... hopefully it will get better in a day or two.

It doesn't sound like there is actually any shortage, just that everyone in that area ran out and hoarded gas. I saw a quote from a supplier that they were having no trouble meeting normal demand, but demand skyrocketed 30% the last day or so.

Hahaha.. that killboy post is funny. I'd get a kick out of seeing some car/truck/SUV get turned away from the gas station at the Crossroads of Time as the bikes merrily fill up.

At least you guys are going to be together, I would hate to get low and not be able to find gas this weekend as I will be travelling by myself. I can't make it all the way to my destination tonight on one tank of gas in the bike tonight.
