then it seems like arousing NESR's interest is only going to cause more people to know about the road, and in turn lead to more police attention, in which case there's an attempt to restrict access to information. i'm sure the cops know that there's a road called tracy and that it exists somewhere.

i mean you no offense jackie, but it's considerably annoying to be told "we're withholding information from you because you can't handle it," explicitly or otherwise.

You're right... because secret roads are SO much more annoying than 'Super Secret Rides' and secret clubs. Man you guys are a bunch of tools.

Have you ever ASKED someone where the road is? Within 5 minutes of me asking, someone PMed me directions and offered to take me there. If you don't know where it is, you haven't asked. I don't think any of us who do would ever deny another NESRian. As someone said, its to deter lurkers and unregistered people, not members.

damn massholes, always crying about something. i'm there 3 days a week and offer free guided tours of the area as well as free bike extraction assistance. all you have to do is take the 6 hour trip and let me know when you head up.

Come on Jim, this is nothing against you. I know you are a safe rider. and I never called you a squid. All I am saying is I have seen the kind of posts and threads on Gixxer.com and feel that they do not promote safe iridng and improvign riding skills as we do here. I could be wrong.

Inexperienced riders knowing about that place will only attract more crashes and hence police attention. I never said you should not go there! I rather recommend you. Its worth the trip!

On Labor Day .

I was called by people on T***** Rd to recover a bike and injured rider.

1st and foremost the cops do know about T***** Rd.

How do I know ?

Because I was talking with the state boy that responded to this crash for an hour.

Shortly after there was another bike accident that day on T*****Rd.

I went through there on Monday of Labor Day, and talked to a group of riders who had 2 members of there group go down. I am hope that they are the same people other wise that road claimed 4 bikes that weekend.

If you do not want to make a 5+hr round trip ride to hit up some of our Tasty Tantalizing Twisites, then don't check out the thread.

Though I can say that the last time I was there, we saw probly 6 bikes from Quebec riding like turds, so if the Queebs can find it, AND make the ride...

I won't tell you in a PM, unless I know you (but then you probly have made it out there already) but if you want to make the trip, I'll take you out there.

No one has ever refused to talk to me about it or tell me where it is. I think if you asked anyone to PM you the name of the road they would. You need to understand that this forum shows up on google searches and is visible to anyone with an internet connection. No one is keeping secrets from anyone on NESR, its more to keep it from the general public.

More people knowing about a road = more bikes and squids = more police attention

Exactly. Every time this idiotic conversation comes up, we make it clear that we're trying to keep the name of the road from getting out to all the lurking squids, and we're happy to take any NESR member to check it out. All you have to do is plan a ride up this way.

I remember going on a ride 8/9 with a party afterwards. I remember telling people come up and I'll lead the way.

No one took me up on said offer. I guess next time I'll have to stand on the counter and yell to get attention, then announce it.

I've mentioned going over there. All anyone had to do was send me a message and ask me to lead the way and we could go from there.

T road is what? an hour & a half from Montreal, tops ? and also easier to find, only a stones throw from the highway at the west end, certainly nowhere near the 4-5 hour trip one way (not round trip) from Boston,

You have to understand a few things here boys:

DBCuntz is slower than cold molasses. He wouldn't ever ride T***** road because

a) he wouldn't want to trailer his bike all the way there
b) he's too busy changing his manpon
c) he needs to clean his chain
d) once he got there, he'd complain that everyone riding on the road is 'insane' and 'riding at unsafe speeds'*


He's a jealous little brat with a serious complex. Because he lacks the skills and testicles to have fun, he'd like to ruin it for those of you who do.

*Note that unsafe speeds for Jim would be anything over the speed limit
