If it's a miraculous, unseasonably warm, 70 degree day in late october I'd be in for sure. At that same time in October though, I have seen snow fall. If the high temp is gonna be 40...yea I'll not be riding the bike. Can't exactly get the propper cold weather gear on under the leather.
guess time will tell
im in too man. ill be there for shizzle

- up 2 on the rear Sprocket
Wrong direction. Here's our ride description:
Meet at 9am at McDonald's parking lot on Williston Rd. in S. Burlington, or 9:45am in Barre at the gas station by the intersection of Rt 302 and Rt 110. Route will be Rt 302 and Rt 25 to East Corinth, then back roads to Chelsea. We'll stop for lunch in Chelsea, then head over Chelsea Mountain Road to Randolph, Bethel Mountain Road to Rochester, back up Rt 100, and over the App Gap.
We may mix it up a little and just take Rt 110 south from Barre to South Royalton. Depends on the weather and who shows up for the ride. We'll see. At any rate, it's a nice ride either way, and you guys are totally welcome to join. In fact, I hope at least a few of you will, because I doubt many people from my RAT pack will show up. Attendance has been terrible this year because all the core members have been super-busy with work and personal stuff.

I am in if weather is good and I don't mean temp.
If there are riders from down south that want to meet at my place and ride up from there I can lead a group. We would leave hear at noon and take some nice back roads up. Just let me know who to expect.
Moto- If you want to bring your group down to meet up, that would work also.
I am working with FTMS on Routes right now, trying to find a spot where those of us riding can go down and meet FTMS, Slyder, Jackie, Reiobard, MzdGirl and maybe even TriumphDog, and still make it a 2.5hr or less ride once people get into Vermont...without having to push too hard either. It will be tough. We shall see. Might have a few groups out and about, which is fine by me.
Weather is tentativly looking like mid-50's, lets hope and pray for sun and 60*!
BlueEye's is creating a magnificent feast, so no one is allowed to bail out...mmmmk!
Ill most likely be grilling marinated chicken tenders, steak strips, and some veggies, cause thats healthy, have not decided yet.
If anyone wants to help with food, pm BlueEyes, if anyone wants info on rides, meeting places, directions, or general info, pm Me!

I can most likely get out of work at 11:00 on Sat to get up there on time. That should give people time to get here with out leaving to early in the morning.
I've been staying out of this and not wanting to confirm anything because of the possibility of the Baby coming earlier than expected.
Mark me as tenative.

I'm leaning toward riding up Friday nite and staying at my Dad's in Hinesburg, but my GF may come, in which case we will ride up Saturday morning, drop my gear of in Hinesburg then head to Underhill

Cool!
Looks like we are going to have a nice little group to upset Blue's neighbors!
I basically suck at making decisions, so the ride info is still up in there air. But I can tell you that we will be riding around central Vt, so Waitsfield, Rochester, Randolf, Barre area...then depedning on whether some us go with the Rat Pack, or start in Hinesburg, take 17 over then head up to Underhill, or take The Notch over from Stowe.
Either way, its going to be around a 2hr ride, especially if we meet up with the NH peeps South of Barre.
If you are not in for the ride, or it ends up being too cold out for some of us (me included) then you can meet at the Jiffy Mart Mobile on Rt15 in Underhill Flats.

I'm gonna bring my party hat.
Original
Wicked...
Where are we going to meet you NH Riders?
FTMS sent me a few ride ideas that are almost identical to markbvt's ride...except they start in NH. Its most likely going to be a chilly start if ya'll be riding, so you tell us where to meet you!
NH Riders I have on the VIP List are: jnm988, FTMS, Reiobard, MzdaGrl, and RandyO (but he is doing his own thing) am I missing anyone coming from any other NE State?

From the Barre meetup spot, there are two options: either head south on Rt 110 to South Royalton, or head east on Rt 302 to Rt 25, south on Rt 25 past East Corinth, west on Goose Green Rd and Rt 113 to Chelsea, then south on Rt 110 to South Royalton.
Which route we take will depend on the weather and what time we need to meet up with people further south.
From South Royalton, we'll head west on Rt 14 and Rt 107 to Bethel, north on Rt 12 to Camp Brook Rd, Camp Brook Rd/Bethel Mountain Rd over the Rochester Gap, Rt 100 north to Waitsfield, Rt 17 west over the App Gap, Huntington Rd to just shy of Richmond, Hinesburg Rd to the intersection where it makes a 90-degree left, we'll turn right, short dirt section into Richmond (thanks to the bridge in downtown Richmond being closed), Browns Trace Rd to Jericho, Rt 15 to Underhill.
If people want to, we can stop for lunch at the Rochester Cafe, but lunch seems a little unnecessary to me when we're heading to a BBQ right after the ride.
Since MotoFreak is having a hard time making decisions, please allow me to step on everyone's toes and announce that the meeting spot is at the gas station at the corner of Rt 110 and Rt 14 in South Royalton at, say, 11:30-11:45 or so. Everyone cool with that?

If you go 302 to 25 we could meet at 25 and Goose Green. If you go down 110 we could meet in Chelsea at the green.
If NH riders want to meet at my place i can lead to meet up with the rest. My place is easy to get to with a large sign at the end of the driveway.
We can always have multiple meeting spots. Rt 25 and Goose Green Rd at 10:30 to meet up with you and whoever else you bring along, and if anyone's coming up from further south (kbroderick? Mr Bread?), they can meet us in South Royalton at 11:30.

I'm cool with that...you'll be at the house round 3-330, just in time to be starving and in need of warm Chili!!!
Blue and I however cannot make it, cause she really should not be doing a 100+ mile ride (she is still under the weather), and I am on Grill Duty.
But we still want to ride!
So, I am thinking of a smaller/shorter ride...something like Rt 17, then back up 100 to Stowe, hit the Notch, then be back in Underhill in time to make tasty treats for everyone!
More to follow with meeting time and place.
Mark, is anyone from your Rat Pack going to come to the BBQ? They are def. welcome, just need a ball park # if you can get one.
Also, if anyone is inviting a friend, or someone who is not on the forum, please let me know!
