Sounds like that camera should be moved then.Originally Posted by OreoGaborio

The only upside to at least putting a background on the other side is if you wanna run somewhere else like NJMP or VIR because T&S are on the right. All I can suggest is get hold of some vinyl white or yellow background and some numbers so you don't get raped at the track.
As far as not being able to read numbers on the right side.
That's what the rear plate is for. If the rear isn't legible (ie: on top of the tail) then number plates on the sides of the bodywork (like the British superbike guys do and like Growler does) should be put on.

When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Yes. For $60, I'm considering one. Anyone know how they effect fit and if S&C will have them?

On a bright note...
we have a rule book before the season start....last year it was like ..... round 3
Graham
"If computers get too powerful, we can organize them into a committee — that will do them in"
Speaking of wrong threads when does pre-registration open?
I'm with ya dude. I especially like those threads because they tend to remind me to pre-reg so I don't pay a late entry fee AND have to pay to get in/camp. I suck pretty bad at remembering that myself.
If I get turned down for plates, that's fine. I'll take my credits...entry fees, camping fees, etc....and use them on the following weekend.
Thing is people, you are licensed by CCS not LRRS. Sure, your region is LRRS but you have to ask yourself who you renew your racing license thru each year. It's not thru Loudon Road Racing Series.
That said, I, for one, am going by the rules stated in the 2011 CCS/ ASRA hardcopy of the rulebook that was sent to my house and nothing else because I certainly can't make my case at tech by dialing up an e-mail or a PDF while in the tech garage.

It's in my truck at the moment. I'll have to get back to you on that for exact wording.
I *believe* it states that 2 front plates are acceptable if there is an intake present. The exact size of the numbers I don't recall off hand and yes, tech seemingly makes the final call....
......which that alone raises some other questions in my mind as to how consistent technical inspection is acheived since we can basically now call the "rule" book the "book of loose interpretation guidelines that will be finalized in a case-by-case manner in the tech garage".
I'm sticking by the hard copy (which I will get from my truck when I take break).
