Count Down Untill 2012 Season!

Just got two brand new trailer wheels and tires for 57 shipped...not bad. Also I ended up just ordering the carbon supermoto belly pan off of eBay. My attempts at making something failed. I had one really good effort, which included a huge warming tray (see below), that I cut, and folded the front up, riveted together, and sealed it. But it had some sharp corners on it and I wasn't comfortable getting on the track with other people with that hazard, so I scrapped it.

My trailer got a lot of love this past weekend, and I also installed the hitch on my car...Trailer just needs some new tires, anyone know of the best place to order some? 8 inch wheels. I think the ones on there were 4.8x8, but they're extremely dry rotted.

Also gotta figure out the wiring harness for the car. New Passats, run one tail light bulb, with one filament. When you apply your blinker, it sends a greater load to the bulb which brightens the light, same thing for brake lights. And to top it all off, if the car senses incorrect resistance, it assumes the bulb is out and kills power to it. Any ideas? My dad is a vw tech, and even he is at a loss. VW doesn't produce a trailer hitch for the Passat, so they don't offer any sort of work around for it.

I could tap into the third brake light for brake lights, and any constant power source for the running lights, but blinkers, I dunno. I really don't want to be popping up panels inside a brand new car to be running wires from the stalk or fuse box, they never go back the same way and tabs always seem to break.

I'm waiting till the last minute...Should have my battery in by the weekend, Ill install that... Then off to Mexico till the 20th.... Then when I get back I will kick it in gear and try and start the bike. What could I possibly need to do to it, RIGHT!?....
