B/c I've already got trackdays on the brain, updated for Monti North and 66:
13. Pocono East - unlikely to go back now that the new kid (NJMP) is in town.
12. Firebird, AZ (West) - smooth and fast and a blast to try on Code's 636.
11. VIR Patriot - Loudon's counterpart in the south, with smoother pavement.
10. Lightning - Had the slipper clutch installed just in time to take on T7.
9. Grattan counter-clockwise - Looks like poop but quirky and fun as all get-out.
8. Grattan clockwise - Still looks like poop but still quirky and fun as all get-out. But 17 hours is a long ride home with broken ribs . . .
7. Mont North - For some reason this course made me feel faster than normal
6. VIR Full - holy acorns! but fun! fastest speeds that my 749s ever hit were here.
5. Monti 66 - I need a couple consecutive days on this track, still haven't quite figured it out, but I do know that me likey.
4. Barber - smmoooth, but too easy to keep you honest (e.g. you can screw up and still be fine . . . less incentive to nail every turn perfectly.)
3. Loudon - I wish I knew how to quit you. I love this little bitch!!
2. Thunderbolt - fast AND technical . . . can't wait to go back.
1. Calabogie - still. the. best. ever.
Looking at this list makes me think I should be way faster than I am.
Hoping to add Tremblant or maybe a new VIR config in 2011 . . .

From a pure fun layout standpoint....
Bridgehampton - fast, flowing, blind, elevation changes, tons of grip, gave you ample opportunity to scare yourself once a lap...did I mention fast?
Barber - Elevation, creativity, most beautiful course in the nation
Road Atlanta circa 1998 (with gravity cavity) - Tons of character, elevation, huge g-forces
VIR North - The back section is the best set of switchbacks anywhere
Elkhart Lake -Best course for a big bike, #1 place for hard brakers, Super fast, challenging
Loudon circa 1988 (the old track) - challenging with a great flow to it
Daytona - Has an oh S%*@ factor like nowhere else. Classic course had great character
Loudon - Makes you work, great switchbacks, really a great skill builder track
Mosport - Like Bridgehampton....great flow & mostly fast / blind. Good g-forces as well
Road Atlanta - Still good, just a little less fun than it was
Mid Ohio - Great layout, lots of elevation, pavement changes that make you think.
Infineon - Great first few turns...as good as anywhere. T2 is the #1 place in the nation to light up a tire and make it haze blue smoke
Homestead - Best use of a speedway course, has a little of everything. Takes a complete skill set to really master
Laguna Seca - Beautiful, flowing...I just never got in the groove there
New Jersey -Has a couple sections I really like....wide open under the bridge is a breathtaker every time
Brainerd - Fastest turn one / two anywhere. It's like that carnival ride you have to do once
Miller - Big, fast, fun, safe....just pretty flat
Summit Point - Inconsistent pavement, decent layout
Topeka - Has some fun sections...needed reapaving badly when I rode it
Pocono - Topeka squared (no - cubed)
NJMP Lightning - Could be fun, but too sketchy for me
NYST - See above. This track could be way up on the list if it were not for trees and a crazy pit in /pit out.
California Speedway - Mostly blah with one really fun increasing radius corner that allowed you to absolutely roast the rear tire. Without that turn...dead last
Portland - OK, just not a lot to it...felt like 4 turns and do it all over again
Mid America - Flat....really flat
Pike's Peak - Kinds like riding in a wheel in a gerbil tank.....go, left, then left, then left, then left again....4-5 seconds of rights on a 55 second track
Jennings - Some guys like it...I just never felt a flow here at all. Also very flat
Willow Springs - The wind wrecked this one for me...10 mph one lap, feels like 100 the next. You feel like you could be a tumbleweed at any given moment at 140mph. Not confidence inspiring
Las Vegas - Probably the most "manufactured" speedway course I've ridden

Another vote for Calabogie.
Haven't done Willow, but Chuckwalla is DEFINITELY one of my favorites after having only ridden there one day... may even be my new #1, but I'll have to get back there another day before I can give it that title![]()

Please keep in mind that most of these are from a car racing perspective. But I've raced bikes at a few of these as well.
1. Monticello long course..4.1 miles of the best pavement on the planet. (especially when behind the wheel of a Ferrari F430 Scuderia)
2. Daytona. What more is there to say?
3. Bridgehampton. So sad that it is gone, was a great track. Turn 1 was all about who had the biggest balls.
4. Limerock. Deceptively fast, has a great rhythm
5. Watkins Glen, classic fun, somewhat technical great for lots of power
6. Pocono long course. Very fast, high HP cars are a lot of fun here.
7. Road Atlanta, say what you will but I love it.
8. Barber Motorsports, great lay out, fast, fun, technical.
9. NHMS. It works, cut my teeth there, its home.

1. NHMS- It has been my home since it was Bryar. I will always have a soft spot for this track and especially the people!
2. Barber- I like this track a lot. It flows well and that back kink is fun! Also I think the Vintage Festival in October just makes this track the whole kit and caboodle!
3. Phillip Island- Do I have to say much more. Pavement laid by God. To the point where there aren't many reference points on the pavement because they keep it so nice! Plus you crest the hill going down the straight and see the ocean. Don't look for too long though! I think the only reason it is not higher is I have only ridden it once.
4. Mosport- Long, sweeping track with great elevation changes. Turn 2 and Mosses corner are like no other corners I have ridden. Plus the Canadians are great!
5. Mid-Ohio- So much freakin fun.....until it rains. Then it is like riding on ice. Not exaggerating on that either!
6. NJMP, Thunderbolt- Fun, but wish their was some more elevation changes. Plus Jerseygirl has to love a Jersey track right
7. Daytona- What can you say....it IS Daytona. The bankings are like nothing I have seen. It is a true experience.
8. Summit Point Main- I like this track. Great sweeping corners. Nice elevation changes. Just watch out for the deer. I also love passing big bikes going into turn 1 with my drum brakes at track days!
9. NYST- More fun than I thought it would be AND you can run it both ways. Win win in my book!
10. Pocono East- Barely remember it as it was my first track experience, but for that reason, I will have a soft spot for it. But is was bumpy as heck back in 2006!
11. Autodrome St. Eustache- Raced here to qualify for Barber (long story, but racing in Canada made me an international racer and that was enough to get in). Probably the most dangerous track I have ever raced, but the Canadians are a good time. And because it was in a residential area, no motors till 10am. Sleep in!!
12. Roebling Road- Do not like. The surface is eh and the last time I was there, it was 17 with the windchill. Plus you have to cross the track to get out.
Have lapped Beaverun and Summit Jefferson in a car and slept in the corkscrew at Laguna Seca when I was two, but not enough info to rate them![]()
