Yeah, I questioned putting that up there, but I did like it a lot better after the 3rd day. I think it has a great balance of technical, fast, and elevation. Just a well balanced challenge. I did think it was a little narrow and small feeling in places. Also, I revised it again as I forgot to add Club.

Vir is a must do if you have not been. Better rollercoaster then Barber. Better Facilites than NJ, Made the trip five times, beautiful ride to get there also.

Hrmmm... NESR invasion of VIR could be a good time, so much going on in Aug / Sept though.
Raced At Thompson
(1st time) and Canaan (2nd time) over the past few weeks with USCRA so must update my list. Interesting place Thompson, facilities are not bad all though the shower could be closer. Golf and ice cream bar food was pretty good. Track is fun, fast and the traction (pavement) is good. Its close by so I hope the Club goes back there.
Canaan is still fun but it's a short tight very good ribbon of pavement and not much else.
Mid-Ohio
VIR
Barber
NJ
Tamworth
Thompson
Canaan
Daytona
Homestead
Bryar motorsport park
Bridgehampton
NHMS
Roebling
Carolina
Well, there are many factors involved. And as always personal preference and yours will and hopefully be different than mine.
Roebling is where I crashed hard.
Carolina needed paving and I could never get into a rhythm there.
NHMS the track kinda sucks even though I have won there and its close but also have lost good friends there.
The Bridge and Bryar where THE pits and the track surface were interesting at both. I will say both tested you.
Homestead is a HP track and mostly point and shoot riding.
Daytona should be higher as I won there also but the last few times I went it was just Boring racing on it.
Both Canaan and Thompson are close and offer very good pavement (Traction wise)
So that's it.
Roebling - repaved in 2022
CMP - repaved 2021
thompon, NC Bike, and CMP will always be ranked super low on my list. Thomspon doesnt sit well with me with the bridge. CMP is awkward with T14, sand kicked out in T1, and the high speed kink that causes mutliple helicopter rides every weekend.
Daytona i agree is very boring. Barber highly disappointed me last year if you're referring to the track itself and not the overall experience with the facilities and museum. if you're including all that, then Daytona has to bump up given it's bike week.
Thompson does have a few areas with little to no runoff I will grant you that but give me a track without a sketchy place or two.
I find Barber to be so cool but hey if you had a bad time I get it.
and I do factor the whole experience and not just the track itself. Barber Vintage festival is a better take for me than Daytona bike week.
I did ride the new pavement at CMP but like you said the place has no flow with two bus stops and the sand.
I will not race Roebling again. Working on the going back to Mid-Ohio.

I never really saw the bridge at Thompson as much of a concern?
Short straight leading in, relatively low speed corner. I was always a bit more wary of the last sector between the oval exit and front straight entrance. Much more risk there IMO.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Mid Ohio is now my favorite track. Longer than Loudon but tight, technical with near constant elevation changes that make for blind corners a plenty, most stuff is off camber, only one real hard braking zone, flows amazing.
