Preferably in like-new condition, repaired will also work in a pinch. I know some of you have kids spares, let me know what you've got!
Didn't know it was you until ways after. At least you're in somewhat of a good mood about it to be making jokes.
You going to natural way or going to turn into ironman?
Heal up quickly!

Thanks, I need to get in with an orthopedist but the preliminary assessment from Concord is the Ironman route.
Sucks bud. Heal up.
Wow, sorry man. You are the second person I know who's getting screwed in the past 3 months.

So you didn't believe me when I said "don't do that, mmkay".
Just got back from the ortho, he said 6-7 MONTHS before I can ride or play sports. I was expecting 1-2 months max based on the experiences of others. Should I get a second opinion from another doc?
He said months and not weeks?? That seems like a long time. I'll ask my doc and see what he says.

That was my doc's advise as well with mine. Doesn't mean I listened 100%...
Basically if it doesn't hurt, you may not be causing trouble... or you may be, that's the tricky bit with collar bones.

I have a SuperBike legal modified one, but I'm using it for the rest of this season. I don't know the specifics of your injury, but that diagnosis sounds like bullshit. Too much ass-covering. Definitely get a second opinion and stress that you are an active person who needs full mobility by like August 15th.

This sucks.![]()
I feel your pain! Broke my right one on two places. I'm on week six and the bones haven't started to fuse!!!!! They want me to sit still. How the f@#k do you do that?
I wanted the hardware installed but they advised against it. And so did many others I spoke to.
Who are you seeing? I also went to Concord and am dealing with Dr Noordsij. They say he's the best.
Oh, by the way, it still hurts. It feels like I have a small man standing on my shoulder with his heel digging into my collar bone. There's a little part of me that wishes I got the surgery. I'd be playing golf right now.
If you look on ebay you can find the tools to install the hip and knee parts from time to time. Look up "glass eye" if you want to be really grossed out. I think a hip would make an awesome shift knob in a manual car.
