We ran Frontier Land from 2001 to 2005 but stopped because we weren't getting the number of entries needed to make it work. The coup de grace was the construction of a helicopter pad in the middle of the back straight.
Mind you, these were vintage races. They are slower than modern bikes. There were no points paid for this event, we didn't want them riding at 100%. Our faster modern bike classes weren't even run at Frontier Land. Serious work would have been needed to make acceptable runoff for faster machines. There were no spectators allowed at these events. Riders, crew and workers were the only ones who could get in. Frontier Land didn't have the gates and the fencing that you see in the NHMS infield, so this was necessary.

As discussed in a different thread, the USCRA will be holding its FIM North American Vintage Championship races on the weekend of August 18-19. Since it is a two day event, it will most likely have the endurance race as part of the schedule. LRRS licenses will be honored, AMA membership is required. The rulebook isn't final yet as there is a Rules Committee meeting in a week at the banquet.
