Very nice!! Get good deal?? I saw an ad for one last week think it was $17k off sticker...
LOVE that colorENJOY!!
also running the Ford performance tune via ProCal + Turbosmart BOV = FUN
thnx, man! yeah, they are wide but i'm used to the size from driving the Heep for ~6 years. the Bronco is a hair wider and a little less tall. still another monster truck though!
thnx! yeah, happy with the deal all around. got it used with ~3,500 miles on it and a handful of mods i would have done anyway, now i just need to complete what the PO started.
rented a '23 Bronco Everglades model while i was out in Montana a few weeks ago and totally fell in love with the platform. i was already looking at a few pickups as mentioned previously but nothing was speaking to me. then i was ready to pull the trigger on an INEOS Grenadier, like almost signed, then realized i'm not interested in being a beta tester, maybe in 6 years ... the Raptor was an immediate match. it's like driving a f'in side-by-side on the street. nutty fun. even sounds great.
so far i've removed the side steps, mud flaps, azure accent decals like the FORD up front, tinted the 1st row windows and looking at wheels with the proper offset for the 38s on it.
i was on the fence about the color but i really like how it changes with light. doesn't photograph that well but in person i'm like, yeah, dig it.
the one thing i'm sad about... i'm no longer a manual trans guy. been one my entire life ... the 10 speed trans + modes and paddles is pretty sweet though.

Fuck yeah, they really need a tune, the electronic throttle is so lazy otherwise.
You're really gonna love it.
congrats!! That thing is SICK!
I drove my buddy's Bronco Badland 2.3L 6-speed manual and was very impressed. Definitely a better all-rounder than a Wrangler. Can't even imagine what the Raptor is like. I keep looking at new Mustangs and Broncos and would have a hard time choosing between manual and 10 speed auto if I was actually serious about buying.
Are you going to the program in Utah? Do they still do it? I assume they do? Obviously highly recommended.
thnx, man!
i bet the Badlands w/manual was fun, i would love the Raptor with a stick, would be a blast ... it's funny that i have phantom freakouts like i need to push clutch pedal sometimes, hah! usually when coming to a stop ... but honestly, i'm really diggin' the 10sp auto. the way you can just flick the paddle at any time to downshift and the motor will rev match is f'in hilarious.
yes, i would love to, but i need to put my VIN through a validation process since i bought it used. i have an account, started the forms, but i need to upload some docs to continue.
Beta 200RR
does it have antilag in baja mode like the gen 2 raptor?
It'll have dual everything

first road trip with my Frontier today, my son was going to buy a box truck down in Danbury, CT, 250 miles each way, he drove down, plan was for me to follow him back, no fucking deal, engine rapped like a mutherfocker, oil pressure light on at idle, barely went off going down street, he turned around 2 houses down, when he was backing it up the drive, I didn't think it would make it without poking a rod thru something, wasted trip, Mark drove back too, but 500 miles of passenger is tiring. 19.5mpg on the way down, 19.7 on the way back

my son is looking for a box truck, at this point, something that will go him a year, he prefers Fords but Chevy ok, single axle only, no dualies, that puts you in a weight class subject to medical card, DOT random inspection and shit like that, He likes having the air bubble on the roof for slightly better fuel economy

So fucking hot man! Sick!
That thing is great looking. My neighbor has a brodozer version, neon green lights and all. I don't hate it one bit. They really got the styling down with that thing.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Didn't like the BD S8 I swapped over from my Raptor, just didn't look right
So I got some BD LP9 Pros
Install took MUCH more of my Saturday today than I planned, but it s done.
There's a wire to the back light, then the 2 outers are amber with high and low beam, the inners are clear with high and low beam, so they take up 5 total upfitter switches.

I was just thinking last night on my way home, "all of these ford F150/250s coming at me down back roads could really use MORE LIGHTING, I can barely see them coming!"

My parents went to school in Orono. My aunt married into a family up that way. They used to tell me stories about mounting aircraft lights on the car to try to spook if not see the deer everywhere up that way at night. Something about being able to spot Ellsworth from Bangor. I thought they were high (and they probably were).
Now I live in that part of the world. I get it. I get it.
Bah, Ramcharger has been pushed back again, 1st quarter 2026, maybe... aka too late for me.

I notice there aren't many RAM owners represented here, any reason?!? Among my circle of friends/family the are evenly distributed along with the Ford/GM/Toyota and most seem pretty happy with them...![]()
I drive a 2018 Ram 1500 and absolutely love it. Its got the V6 and it's never balked at anything I've needed to tow. I have a 7' plow and use it for my driveway only ( a hill with a curve ). It's 8 years old and only had one issue that I wouldn't call normal wear and tear. I'll probably trade it in within the next couple years and will see what's out there then. But a Ram will be high on my list.
I test drove a Ram 1500 in '15-ish when I bought my Silverado. Liked the way the Ram drove and rode a lot better. The linkage rear suspension made a noticeable difference. It was in the running for sure.
