Heavier than they look aren't they?

I bought a topside creeper for the install:
I have an overhead chainfall on an I-bean, but I don't think there's anything to hook to on the blower....
Im considering taking the front tires off and dropping the whole front end down. Im sure I have to get underneath it at some point though.
excuse my fucking messy garage, things are in limbo while we paint the other garage.

If it is similar to the F150 install the only thing you would need to get underneath it for would be installing the circulation pump for the Whipple intercooler coolant between the radiator you install in front of the trucks radiator and AC condenser and the supercharger on top of the motor. Everything else is either done from the front or the top.
Whipple didnt send the MAP sensor so Im kinda stuck. Hopefully I can get it overnighted next week.
Still have the fuel rails and injectors, intercooler, pinning the crank, and re assembling the front end....

Pinning the crank was fun. I had to use a mirror and gouge the hell out of my arms

With the Jig in place
Drilled and pinned
I got the torque wrench to click at 125 ft/lbs, but I need to go buy a strap wrench to get the 90 degrees

Damn. That's a pain. That's to keep the crank pully from spinning?
Interesting. Didn't have to do that on the 150 version.
Is all you are waiting on the MAP sensor? If so, nice job gettin' 'er done.
Collarbone is doing okay. My sternum is pretty sore from lying on that topside creeper for hours and hours.
I should probably get a borescope someday for sure. That would have helped.
On hold, waiting on missing parts. Pain in the ass with 2 kids in soccer....
Finally got a tracking number, missing parts won't be here till TUESDAY.
booooo
The MESS that is the brake vacuum system:
Got the T MAP sensor, the spacers, and the heat exchanger I've been waiting on:
ALMOST done
Still need to do some wiring, put the front end back together, tidy up, flash the ecu, bleed the coolant....
Cut into the main harness and spliced in the wired from the MAF/MAP!!!
Just burp the coolant, put the front end back together, use a pile of zip ties, flash the tune and were good to go!
Finished the install tonight and started the truck!!! Still burping the coolant, so that was enough running the loud truck at 9 at night waking the family. I'll get it up to temp tomorrow and top everything off.
In the tomahawk instructions after flashing to adjust tire size so I did.
It also said you are likely to get CELs and to just clear them.
I had no CEL, but on startup I got a wrench and "Service 4x4". I hooked the tomahawk back up and it still says no DTC.
Quick google looks like it might be related to the tire size change?
Hopefully if I just drive it tomorrow it will go away.
edit: ambient air temp is also reading wrong![]()
