all other mods came out perfect...very tasteful...I have a front disc guard in white on the yz250, and it's friggen fugly

yeah, front disc guard is nice but it's just plastic. wish it was aluminum like my Motorsportz one on the WR. those can take a serious beating.

P3 carbon guard arrives today. always like seeing their (art)work.

score on the 5.2 spring as well, Steve at PlusOnePerformance in MI is letting me swap the 5.0 i just bought, only need to pay shipping. i'll be doing a lot of Beta Biz with this guy

it's a pretty quiet bike, low tone, but i'd like to trim the silencer back a few inches to save it from damage. i think FMF shortened the newer version for Beta.

You're YouTube post on 7/11, at 0:55, found that uphill wedge today. Your camera footage makes it like like. 20% grade. It lied. I think I'm finding some of the more fun trails at HVD though, right off the quarry road there's a little field with a trail that looks like a nature walk trail, and quickly turns into what seems like a hare scramble trail of death, just add water. Thank for making the woods look so easy.... God damned lightweight 2 strokes...

I keep meaning to finish an edit with the full lower loop we do, uses trail on both sides of the paved road. tons of fun with just enough challenge for everyone. great mix.

like Chip said, looping in the upper rocky hills and trails gets more intense but still fun.

check out the hills behind the sand pit area. there are about 3 good sandy ones (go past pit then down to left where you see a drop out) and 2 or 3 others in the wooded area. all behind pit.

tomorrow I have an idea on how to use the wooded area ones. should add a nice change over there after the bridge.

I always have the intention of doing it, but as soon as I round that bend and the hill is staring me in the face, I tuck my tail and go through the pine grove.

You got a spring press, or can you back off the preload enough to get the collar off??

nope. only need to back off preload ring. don't even need to remove the subframe. remove all 4 bolts, jockey entire unit to the side and shock slides right out.

nice bike to work on so far.

did first air filter change today as well, dig the KTM'esque side access w/clamp rather than center bolt. bought a TwinAir wash cover too. Nice 'n Easy
