removed the diff cover on my truck yesterday to change the fluid only to find out it had a drain plug.

Then I pulled a Titanic trying to park the thing. It started sliding sideways down the driveway into a snow/ice bank. I tried to pull forward, the back tire stopped and the front started siding again. All I could hear was the snow and the side of the truck cracking. I should have taken a picture. Luckily it was nothing major and the truck was ugly to start with.

Left side of the motor is buttoned up, new oil pump gear installed. Gotta do the shift star then I can reassemble the right side, install the new clutch and button up that side as well. Then valve check, valve covers go back on, spark plugs, and then it's finally time to start putting things back in the frame.

New shift star is in, goals for the weekend:

reassemble clutch and install new frictions
button up right side of engine
valve check
new spark plugs
pair block off plugs installed
wiring harness back in the frame
Frame back on motor
suspension back on frame
wheels on suspension
front calipers rebuilt and on forks
new brake lines checked for fit
