i might have my stock levers. i'll check my box o' parts tomorrow and let you know. check out 600rr.net, there are a lot of people parting out bikes or selling full sets of used fairings for good prices there
A good body shop could get rid of most of those marks, no need for new plastics unless there is structural damage.
Call Landrics, he seems to do good work for reasonable prices but I would save it for a winter job.
I bet you could get the lot fixed / re-done for $500 or less including the lever and rear set.
^yeah but he could probably get a full used set for that much, and make most of it back selling his scratched plastics
^ or keeping his fuxzord plastics for trackdays etc
yep, not even safe at home with your own family....my sister backed into mine at home, tipped it over, then panicked and tried to hide all the broken plastic in the garage expecting me to miss it...dumbass
my 2 cents - get new plastics and recover some money buy selling the old ones.
Hey Joe, man I just saw this thread now. Sorry man! You should be back on the bike soon with all the great help you're getting here. Good luck dude!
Sorry to hear! Hope it gets back into shape quickly.

I know this is your first bike and all but your bike is gonna get scratched, and then scratched some more. It's inevitable!!!! Especially if you get the track day addiction.
How bad is the lever? if its bent just a lil bit you can still ride the bike home. your never gonna fully turn your handle bars like a steering wheel.
you could probably get the front cowl, left upper, and tail from a black 2007. that plastic side piece for the headlight is the same for all 2007+.
actually you could use the uppers from an 07 or 08 red one too. they're black pieces, the red parts are decals that aren't cleared on
if i've got it and you wanna drive to ri you can have it today

Man I feel your pain... Same thing happened to me, The Girlfriends younger sister (who just had a permit at the time) backed into my bike and then lied about it. Lets just say she is now an Ex.....

no they'll come up with a value for it, and then a value for how much they think they can get for it at auction. they'll just deduct the auction amount from the total value, and give you a check for the difference. you'll probably have enough to fix it up and put a down payment on a new one (unless there's a lien holder on it)
that's what they did with mine
