Seriously? You let them go to your insurance company?
BAD MOVE. Like Jim said... Probably gonna get totaled and you're not gonna have ANY bike until you buy it back or get a new one.
Shoulda brought it to GMD or someone who could fix the rearset mount (and possibly the rearset as well) for cheap.

or Great Bay and get a real bike like the Daytona 675R...![]()
I wont
EDIT: I might have to, they said they could not get an external bank to finance me due to my credit rating. Unless Bettencourts offers in-house financing. I also need to check my credit score myself, I know I haven't always had the best credit but i have had my auto loan for about 3 years now and no problems. I am not even sure what I will have if they determine it a total loss will have to wait and find out the outcome. No since in getting ahead of myself![]()
I would love to but I will not be there, the shop is going to point out all defects to the claims adjuster and we will go from there. I had to leave the bike in Adams, MA as it was in no condition to ride home according to the shop. They were surprised I rode it to the shop never-mind trying to ride it back to Lynn.
Cancel the claim, put a heli coil in the rearset 10 dollars, get the pcs painted for 4-500 bucks and be done with it and still have a bike. My.02
