I thought so too, but in person, I think the black looks much better. Black is the best, then the white, the the akro special edition, then in the distant last is the black, white, orange combo that looks awful.

I reached out on that with genuine interest and got this in response. Not enough info (or seemingly enough interest in actually selling it) to warrant driving to the cape.

Info From my husband-He is the third owner (all adults). Previous owner had (2) 2012's so he didn't ride it much.

He took off all the blinkers and mirrors and put on an aftermarket Jester pipe. However he has all the stock parts. Bike needs an O2 sensor (est $125.00) and a seat cover. There's one nick in the rear tail but otherwise absolutely mint.

I put the Jetser exhaust on, and a bracket to change it over to GP shift. Aside from that it was pretty stock when I sold it. The two 2012's I had were track bikes, I sold this one because I just wasn't riding much on the street anymore. I think I bought in spring of '19, and sold it in early '22. In that time I might have put on 1500 miles. FWIW, these bikes are fun to ride on the track, and crash pretty well. If you're into that sort of thing.

Too bad the seller didn't seem interested in selling. He came to my work to look at the bike, and ended up buying it on the spot. Anyway, seemed like a good guy. He was in construction, and I used to be, so we ended up shooting the shit for a while.

Yeah I had a 2012 that I sold a few years ago that I kind of miss. I now have a hankering for a weird sport bike and have some money burning a hole in my pocket, so this caught my eye. I'm not sure it's the right one for me though. I think I'm leaning towards a Speed Triple or V4 Tuono anyway.
