Don't you think that it matters more to them that factory bike won it!
Of course it "mattered", but only as a cherry on top. Ducati still would have gotten their 100th win no matter what and I strongly doubt anyone in the Factory garage would have been a big enough bitch about it to have taken the shirt off in protest. Pecco or Enea on the GP24, or Jorge or Mark on the GP23, hell, Bez, DiGia, Alex, or Frankie for that matter, it's still their bike, still a 100th win for their brand and still worth celebrating. Willing to bet it didn't matter who won, they woulda broken out the shirts.

Celebrating for sure. It's a great achievement. I am not sure they would have been as happy, that's all I am saying. I really don't think they would have ripped off the tees. As you said the marquee won and in the end that's all that matters.
This a quote from Miguel Oliveira. I think it says it correctly.
"That was smart. Enea knew exactly where he could carry out this overtaking manoeuvre. As soon as you are in a battle for position and push your opponent into areas marked in green, you have to give the position back. However, Jorge was not pushed into a green area because the run-off zone is not painted green at this point. The rules are clear. Enea was not penalised because the run-off area was painted the wrong colour. If he had overtaken in another corner and Jorge had come onto the green, Bastianini would certainly have been penalised. It's an overtaking manoeuvre on the last lap of the race, everyone is fighting for centimetres. It has also become difficult to overtake on a MotoGP bike. That's why I think it's okay when it comes to winning."
Innnnteresting. I wonder if that's exactly what was going through Enea's head or if it was just luck and coincidence.

It's one of the slowest corners, and he should know the rules.
For sure it's one of the best passing opportunities, I'm merely wondering if that's exactly what was going through his head in that moment or not... "Push him wide, it's blue, not green".

He wasn't calculating all that. They probably ID all the areas that aren't green though and have that in their set of reference points. Identifying passing points is basic stuff. Intentionally running someone off track is not something you can plan ahead for though.
Agreed - I think people always overestimate these types of things. Now if it was Marc and not Enea...

If it were Marc, Jorge woulda been in the gravel![]()

Jorge wasn’t making that corner regardless, that’s why the hole was there. He’d already blown the corner. Enea was in hot too. It was the right call.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Pacco.. Nooooooooo
Not again.......
Dammit
The older I get the Faster I wuz
Always happy to see the championship on the line down the stretch. I’m personally pulling for Pecco rather than Jorge. Neither of them have any margin for a costly mistake, but someone will make one.
Moto2 was awesome. The stones on Ai Ogura to make that tire call when he did….wow! Really bummed about how this season has gone for Joe since they came back from summer break…he really had me believing this year.

Joes whoa's seem to have started when he didn't get the Trackhouse ride. Then somethings going on with his team as John Hopkins has left it. he was riding well then it all fell apart.
Rooting for Martin to win it would be a Hugh slap in the face for Ducati.
Wait, Hopper left? Well that's an interesting development...
Edit: Okay, he stepped down as Racing Director, but he's not *entirely* gone from the team.

Hopkins went on to say he is still the manager and rider coach for OnlyFans American Racing Team’s Joe Roberts, a position he’s held since 2020, but Hopkins was unable to make the trip to this coming weekend’s event at Mandalika International Street Course, in Indonesia.

9pm for me!
Marquez was slicing time off Martin every lap. If he hadn't blown T1 on the start, I would have to imagine that would of been one hell of a battle for the lead.

What an awesome battle for the win in MotoGP. Marc is going to be a force next year on equal machinery. What a terrible start and great come back. Jorge certainty gave it everything. I thought Pecco had something for both but fell off the face of the Earth in the last few laps. This has been a great year to watch.
Best Track on the circuit. M.M. is just fantastic, almost feels like a given that he will win on counterclockwise tracks. Weird that his tear off fell under his tire at the start, good smoke show.
Marc was absolutely brilliant! The practice footage was the old Marc, gotta find some of those clips.
Also, I got a new pup, and she is mesmerized by motoGP!

I’ve still never been to a race, or Australia, so I think Phillip Island will be the one.
