Sto spoke to John Scheeser this morning. John's up there with Joe Esile, Chris's GF and family.
Chris is in Dartmouth Hitchcock. He is in ICU and will be for a while. They are concerned about his brain swelling. He is sedated and breathing mechanically. This will be for the next few weeks.
He did squeeze John's hand so we know someone is in there still!!!
This is all we know this AM.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

Kitt, thank you very much for the updates here and on BoRn... they have been helping put the mind at ease a little on my end. My physical damage is trivial in comparison and i wish and hope for the best for Chris. Him and I joke around at the start of every race now about who would come in what position and its just been a lot of fun to ride with him out there... good clean competition that you can laugh with after the race.
My thoughts are with him and his family!

Hello people, it's me Larry, the SLOW part of Slowpoke Racing. As you all know Chris is in rough shape right now and his girlfriend Kate and I have been fielding calls, texts, questions, and concerns for the last two days pretty much around the clock. I must have recharged my cell battery 20 times by now.
Chris means a lot of things to a lot of people and the outpouring of support from all of you guys and girls has been amazing. He's my best friend and racing with him has been the absolute best. So seeing him go through this is really hard. I am really happy to know Chris has people in the racing community for support. People I've never met were approaching me at the track with offers of support, transportation help, help with kids while we were sorting things out (Kitt), trailer storage (Kevin), packing up all our equipment (Justin, Allyssa,Shaul,Wes), You guys and all the LRRS community are the best and a huge part of why we go racing and risk these kinds of injuries. The cornerworkers are awesome too. I believe Chris is still with us because they acted quickly. We cant say enough for them.
I just left the hospital and he is still with us and showing signs of fighting. He has some pretty serious injuries that will be tough for him in the coming days. His family is asking for some privacy concerning details just for this initial period of uncertainty. As soon as we get a handle on his prognosis I will definitely be posting details here. I will say Chris is in top physical condition and it is helping him right now.
