Agreed. The TP rule blows. It did keep make in the same zip code. Lol. Nice to finally see other bikes consistently up front besides Ducati.
Can someone explain why these guys feel the need to use a tear off on the warmup lap? Looks like Alex spun on Marc’s tear off. Marc cornholed himself with one in the past.

how demoralizing is it for the rest of the pack the MM can decide to slow down, let someone pass so that he can warm up his tire up and then whenever he wants just take the lead back and ride off...
Rules or crashes, only chance...
hate to add more rules, but maybe something like "no tear offs TEARED OFF in the grid spots, must be prior to last turn on warm up lap"

Marc is the best period of all time. Acosta was dreaming and then not so much still a great ride for him and the Beast shows up.
What's the high /low range of PSI aloud? Are starting pressures required? Does this vary with track and air temp?
no air presure issues today? The Benz and Acosta rode great. Pecco needs to get his head together on the break. Martin nice comeback ride. Alex well he back to earth. Mir cant buy a finsh. The Beast over cooks it. Aprilia has a great weekend.
Pretty much all that. As far as tire pressure we never see the actual amounts. They could have been low by a cunthair. Easy enough to make that small adjustment. Pecco can't pass people. Thinking back to last season it was the same. He would give one or two tries and then just give up on the move. Mir was unlucky today with Alex but Mir has done enough crashing on his own with that Honda. Maybe it is the bike. Would be interesting to see him on the Ducati just to see if he can ride better.
When I same Enea first go down I thought for sure it was a red flag. I thought he got driven into the air fence by his bike. Was relieved to see the replay to see that wasn't the case and he was ok. I'm excited to see what Martin can do in a few weeks. He rode a good smart race and the result showed that.
MM is just too good! Making a mockery of the rest of the racers. Pecco is a head case and seems lost if the bike is not perfect. Yes, he had an issue off the start of the sprint but so did Aldeguer so no excuses. Bezz rode like a champ but still not good enough. Good racing all over the grid. Yamahas now seem to be the worst bike overall. Crazy schedule going forward.
Paco's pass on Pecco was awesome. Then the 54 smoked Brad.. They put on a show.
Another awesome show by Bezz.. Wooo
MM is just an alien among aliens
Francis 63 is so deep in his own head he can't see the light.
Did you catch the comments from the riders about spinning on the straights??? WTF.
Now let's get back to a track where my Yamaboys are at least in the same zipcode.. It's like they are using SVs against R6s

It’s really comical at this stage. Seemingly so effortless on Marc’s part, it’s a shame that this level of dominance is “boring.” There was some good down-ballot racing, hopefully they pan to a bit more of it in the coming rounds.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
This weekend is looking to be a fun one. I still think Marc will win but at least KTM and Acosta have shown up. Top ten in practice has some not normal names. I suppose a "new" track show us who can figure it out the quickest. I figure Acosta for a podium as long as he keeps on two wheels. I don't think Pecco makes it out of Q1 and continues his slide backwards.
At the least I am hoping for an entertaining race.
MM on Rails. Moto 2 was fantastic.
Holy Balls. Moto 2 was awesome!!
That track looks fun to ride but I am not sure it's MotoGP. Maybe they will sort out where they can pass at some point but..... Passing was nill in the big bike class.
I also don't understand why they keep making tracks where you can lowside off the track and back on.... Super sketchy IMO.
Pacco and Bez showed again they are studs.
Al Digger is on fire. It's awesome to see.
I think Pecco would change his mind about his Duc if he had to ride the Blurd that FQ20 is on.. Lol I think he needs a change of scenery to get his head right.

I enjoyed the change of pace with our typical GP track. Crazy how obviously physical this layout it. I think Bez ran out of tire, but definitely the right strategy for him to get out front and try and build a lead before his tires dropped. Unfortunately for him, Marc is just too good right now and on better equipment.

Yamaha's V4 to break cover soon!

Entertaining race, and I understand their job is to "create" drama, but the announcers need toabout "holding marc off" 4 laps in
. We aren't stoopid and the reality is unless he crashes or is more than 2 seconds off the lead with less than 4 laps, Marc has a 98% chance of winning.
He got a great start and made it thru 1 safely in front, but was anyone REALLY thinking on lap 5 "If Bez can just hold him off for 20 more laps he's got a shot".
And KTM is looking impressivethought for sure with all of the off track shit they'd fade as the season went on, nice work!!
Both the Aprilia and Gresini teams DNFed hope Marco is, ok? Ride of the race goes to Fabio Quartararo! Frankie sure likes to take others with him! Now Aldeguer joins that club!
Overall thought it was a good race. Cool Victory, Alex was the fastest guy (in the races) all weekend glad he kept it on two. Cool to see The Beast ride well also. Acosta made the wrong tire choice. KTM makes a statement. Aprilia and The Bezz has a bad weekend. VR46 had a worse one! Pecco Still a head case.

Getting harder and harder to make any meaningful comment on this season. Credit to Marc.

The first laps of the sprint were inspiring!! Great to see guys getting on with it..
The Ménage à trois among the KTM lads was epic! I'm sure they were grinning ear to ear inside their helmets. I'm sure the team leaders were nervous.
The GP was.... Nice to see the celebration with the Marquez brothers.
MorbiDingdong keeps doing his thing... He has talent but his judgment is less then great!
Moto 3 delivered again. Rueda is hot!!!

I'm a numbers guy and like to compare the race times to last year, some interesting stuff (well to me anyway) -
Top Ducati in 2024, Bagnaia in 1st - 40'11.726, top Ducati in 2025, A Marquez in 1st - 40'14.093
iirc both results on GP24s, the GP25 doesn't seem to be an improvement
Top KTM in 2024, Binder in 9th - 40'30.304, top KTM in 2025, Bastianini in 3rd - 40'19.655
KTMs in 3rd and 4th, they've taken a step forward
Top Honda in 2024, Nakagami in 14th - 40'44.713, top Honda in 2025, Marini in 8th - 40'30.465
the bike is improved but still a long way to go
Top Yamaha in 2024, Fabio Q in 9th - 40'32.203, top Yamaha in 2025 Fabio again in 5th - 40'28.502
no other Yamaha's close in '24, Oliviera only 3 seconds back in '25, so the bike has improved
Top Aprilia in 2024, Espargaro in 4th - 40'22.269, top Aprilia in 2025, Ogura in 6th - 40'29.148
some crashes and Martin is still on his way back, not a good comparison year to year
Bagnaia's race winning time in 2024 - 40'11.726 his time in 2025 - 40'30.141
take a GP24 out of the warehouse and let him ride it, the GP25 just doesn't work for him
THE BEZZ!!!!!!!

Good race, Marco gave Marc a run but all it takes is one opening.
I was really impressed with Bez hanging in to the end. Nice to see someone else feeling it full distance.

Bezz continues to impress.
Just was Frances (63) was starting to show some glimmer of hope he stubbed his toe on the coffee table in the GP.
Marc is just a stud right now.
Moto3 was fire again. Some of the passes were insane. Impressive bike control and feel for young lads.
Rueda and Quiles stand out
