Face plant, stitches in chin. 2nd or 3rd maybe a stretch. If Pecco is any good, he takes advantage same with Alex. Should be more interesting for sure.
He won that race with his start. It could not have been any better. I thought Alex might have something for him but he just didn't seem quick enough in the areas he needed to get it done. Sucks for Fabio. IMP he is the best rider out there after Marc. It is too bad he is spending his best years on a bike that just can't do it. I really hope Yamaha and the rest can catch up to Ducati.
Another where is Pecco race. I think at this point it is stuck in his head that he can't ride the bike. Marc is winning with it and Digia is passing him with it.
Fantasy team did well. Got a 1, 2, 3![]()
Welp so much for being battered and bruised slowing him down! is Pecco defeated mentally? Beginning to look more and more like it!
Looks like they kept Marc honest this race. I think its all in Peccos head at this point. Once Marc comes by he just folds. Later in the race he was putting in fastest laps.
Bez rode a great race. Hope he has more coming. On a side note wtf is with Martin's manageer and Aprilia? It is getting worse and worse as the weeks go on. I think at this point if I were Aprilia even if Martin gets fit I'd just sit him in the garage out of spite. Don't need that shit.
Scary crash for Alex. Looks like his front brake got hit at a really bad spot. New lever protectors coming after that.
We get a week off and then hopefully two more good races.
AM brake lever protector didnt work PA was leaning heavy on Alex not his fault. Broken Hand is a tough one even if its his left one. Will see but hand injurys take time to heal.
Tbf, AM was leaning heavy on PA. That was his crash to own.
Marc is unreal at this point. Everyone else is 2nd tier or worse. Nonetheless, this was still an exciting weekend of racing. The Cathedral of Speed always brings it.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Great to see Paco and Bez have a solid run.
Freaking Moto 3. Wow.

These guys live for those kind of close back & forth battles... and usually get away with it. For whatever reason, the brake lever guard simply didn't quite get the job done.
It's surely not on Pedro, but I can't & won't fault Alex... he did what what he's paid and LIVE to do. Outcome ignored, he didn't take any outlandish risks and he didn't really do anything wrong.
It's so easy to assign fault because hindsight is 20/20... we know it ended with a crash... but if the battle hadn't ended with a crash we'd all be talking about how amazing that battle was, not how the contact was Alex's fault or Pedro's.
It's a dangerous sport... every move carries risk. Sometimes you get bit. No one's fault, it's just the nature of the beast. 100% racing incident.

I’ll say that if PA crashed, there would be a penalty for AM. I have no issue with the hard racing, matter of fact I love it, buts it’s 100% on AM.

That I can agree with... because for PA to have gone down there likely would have had to have been a whole lot more contact than that.
I still contest that, while AM's actions clearly contributed to his crash, it was primarily caused by a piece of equipment didn't live up to its name.

I always thought the brake protectors we ran were a goofy design. I felt way better on my SM with the barkbuster style. I still remember the day Jeff Wood broke a couple ribs because his lever came into contact with another rider.
I don't know the motogp rules on such things but maybe now it is time to rethink, make them enclosed to prevent this type of crash and toss some aero on them![]()
Not the most entertaining big bike race. Same result we have been seeing but a really strange way of getting there. There were ok battles here and there. Moto3 was fun to watch. A bit wild but fun. Moto2 was a complete shitshow. Moreira had a great ride up until he didn't. No idea what he was doing. Penalty for sure coming his way. If it were up to me I would sit him next week. There is no excuse for his actions.
Anyway, we get to do it again in a few days![]()
Turn 1 Wow! Martin comes back next week and Happy to be on an Aprilia!
Kind of a weird overall GP weekend.. Some great racing in places but not at the front.. Marc is looking like a dominant Jorge Lorenzo back in the late 00s. Dude is just clicking with the bike and marching away with it.
Nice to see the Bez up front again..
The T1 crashes stacked up pretty deep. That was pretty sketchy.
MorbidDingdongdozer went for a whole flying caboozie.. Wow. Glad he's fairly OK.
That track looks fun as hell to ride!

I agree, Morbidelli's suit zipper failing is a huge FAIL for Dainese. (What is up with shitty zippers showing up on our gear lately. I have a almost new Alpinestars where the main zip is tiny teeth and it is a pain to align and it has failed from new a couple times yet is not broken) Don't blame my belly either. That's fat shaming. :-)) <-Double chin smiley
There were some crazy washing machine crashes this weekend. That track does look like something we would all want to do a track day on but what is going on with the run off zones? Is that gravel 3 feet deep or something?
Send cash... I need a track day
Looks like Martin has decided to stay with Aprilia for 26. Watching Bez ride well probably made the difference over the pile the Honda still is. For next year 2026 do you think Aprilia goes in the direction of Martin for development or builds the bike more to suit Bez? There is still time to figure that out with a lot of racing left. I know I would probably reward Bez for his loyalty and its clear he can ride up front with it already. Martin is too much of a wildcard at this point and who knows what he will do in 27.
Martin is definitely a talent but seems a bit fragile both in body and commitment. Not sure how a team would stay motivated in supporting him. Reminds me of Vinales.
I don't know about 2026 as its the last year for the current setups so how much money and time is going to be given to development of a bike that's done after that? Martin needs to stay on two wheels for the rest of the season to see if he still a factor or not. Marco has done a great job with the Aprilia, so I don't see them jumping to Martin till he proves he is the better rider.
I listened to the Martin press conference last night.. Press was pressin him... Made him a bit uncomfortable.. I kind of liked it.
Dude has talent and skill. Needs to get some health and grit like MM or FQ.
Eye Ogre went into quite the spin cycle in FP1.. Wow..

That tire pressure rule is garbage but it really made for an interesting sprint race. At least on the road Marc won it. The penalty is 8 seconds if applied. I feel Marc could have won by that if he just kept pushing along. I think Pecco just can't pass people this year. Nice ride from Martin. Hopefully he does well again tomorrow. Looking forward to another good race tomorrow.
