Minus that pesky lack of charger infrastructure of any flavor in large areas. NACS doesn't magically make chargers appear where there aren't any right now.

In other news, test rode the new Livewire Delmar S2, oooooooh... I want. Wouldn't be practical, again due to the 100mi est range plus no where to charge it around me, but it's a fun ride, really want to track day it bad.

    .
And when they do all start popping up everywhere they're going to have to be more reliable before the majority will be easily swayed.

That's kind of, no that's exactly what it does. Where are you going or thinking of going that doesn't have fast charging infrastructure within 10 miles?

Um, let's start with my house... there's nothing around me, and unlike my trip to Texas where once I got into the south there were tons of Buc eys with Tesla chargers, there wasn't anything obvious along my way to Florida.

Better go and get your complaints to the public, because they're moving you to be 43% EV in 3 years!

Why would you need to charge near your house?

Because not everyone will have the space or financials to upgrade their home. What about the apartment dwellers in town? They would need a sloid public charging network.

I expect most of these types of laws to get adjusted/repealed as the deadlines get closer and adoption isn't matching targets. Also, in Maine's case, Plug in Hybrids count as EVs in the text of the law proposal I just looked at.

I’m not talking about everyone else. That’s certainly an issue for those people.

Really depends on what happens on election day. Biden has an agenda to use federal funds (NEVI) for putting a fastchargers everywhere. Maine would literally be leaving free money on the table. If Trump gets in, he will reverse whatever Biden thinks is good, and NEVI is a hill of beans.

That's talking about new vehicles, and assuming that they won't back pedal on those laws.

    That R3X is the hotness.

Put in a reservation for the R2, but man, that R3 is what I want next to my R1.

R3/R3X remind me of a Rabbit GTI hatchback with bigger wheels and tires. Kind of like a Matchbox or Hot Wheels version of one.

    I like them.

Make them more affordable than most other electric vehicles and they might be on my radar for my next daily driver work mobile
